Manila, Philippines — July 28, 2026 — The Philippines' leading food and hospitality trade show, WOFEX - World Food Expo Manila, will open its doors tomorrow, July 29, 2026, across two major venues. This 4-day event, running until August 1, 2026, marks over two decades as a significant platform for the country's food and beverage industry.

Event Scale and Organizational Backing

WOFEX - World Food Expo Manila is recognized as the Philippines' biggest and most effective food trade show. It is organized by PEPTarsus Corp., a professional events management group with a rich history. The company was founded in 2001 as Premier Events Plus Group (PEPGroup), later becoming PEPTarsus Corp. in 2018 after its acquisition by the Tarsus Group. In 2023, Informa Markets acquired the Tarsus Group, integrating PEPTarsus Corp. and WOFEX into its portfolio of international food and hospitality shows.

Dual Venues, Diverse Offerings

WOFEX Manila 2026 will be held simultaneously at two distinct locations to accommodate its broad scope. The World Trade Center Metro Manila will feature products and services related to baking, food processing, packaging, manufacturing, handling, and cold chain. This venue will also host country pavilions, new products, quality ingredients, and a new section dedicated to agri food products located at the Annex Hall.

Meanwhile, the SMX Convention Center Manila will host specialized zones. The Ground Floor will showcase FINE FOODS, an exhibition of local and international food products. The 2nd floor of SMX Convention Center will feature FOODSERVE, focusing on suppliers for beverages, including coffee and tea, alongside foodservice equipment and HORECA supplies. The Frozen Food Zone, also at SMX, will highlight meat, poultry, and frozen food items from global brands, with the Norwegian Seafood Pavilion located on level 2 near the Kitchen Theater Stage.

Comprehensive Industry Focus and Concurrent Programs

The exhibition covers a wide array of products and services, from baked goods, frozen meats, and spices to wines and spirits. Equipment and supplies for baking, bar operations, and kitchens, including coffee makers and cutlery, will also be on display. The event facilitates opportunities for businesses to connect, demo products, and identify trends, uniting global food manufacturers, gourmet suppliers, and food tech innovators.

A suite of concurrent events will enhance the experience, including the Philippine Culinary Cup, the country's only WACS-accredited culinary competition. WOFEX University will offer seminars and learning sessions, while The Hotel Summit & Expo focuses on hotel development and operations. Specialized zones like FineFoods, FoodPackPro, and FoodServe will be present, alongside the Drinks + Bakes showcase (introduced in 2025) and The Philippine Bar Scene (debuted in 2023). TECHtalks, featuring free seminars on food, beverage, packaging, and baking, also debuted in 2023, complementing the Bukid to Bahay initiative for farmer and restaurateur dialogues, and SensoryEx for hands-on learning.

Target Audience and Participation

The event targets a diverse professional audience, including Chefs, Restaurateurs, Food Manufacturers, and Purchasing Officers. WOFEX Manila 2026 is open to trade visitors from July 29 to August 1, 2026, and to both trade and the general public on August 1, 2026. Only individuals aged 16 years and above are allowed entry. A 4-Day Pass for visitors is priced at Php 400 for 2026.
