Munich, Germany — June 27, 2026 — SecurityExpo Munich, set to open on July 1, 2026, anticipates 3,300 visitors and 130 exhibitors, building on its 2025 exhibition space of 5,100m².

Event Scale and Venue

The trade fair, organized by AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH, will take place at MOC Munich, located at Lilienthalallee 40, D-80939 Munich. It will utilize Hall 1 and Hall 2 of the venue. The event’s scale has seen consistent growth; while 120 exhibitors participated in 2013, the 2015 edition hosted 140 exhibitors. Visitor numbers also show an upward trend, with 2,700 visitors recorded in 2013. The 2024 edition saw 4,900 m² of exhibition space, 120 expected exhibitors, and 3,000 expected visitors.

Core Technologies and Program Focus

SecurityExpo Munich will demonstrate safety and security technology designed to protect against internal and external criminal attacks. Core Exhibit Sectors will include access control, video surveillance, fire protection, perimeter protection, and IT security. Specific technologies such as biometric systems, infrared cameras, security gates, building management systems, and drone/unmanned systems will be presented. The event will also feature a dedicated workshop focusing on the protection of critical infrastructure (KRITIS) and a lecture forum as part of its daily program.

The target audience for the expo includes Security Managers, Facility Managers, Corporate Security Officers, Architects and Planners, and IT Security Specialists. Directors of corporate and company security, along with representatives from industrial plants, banks, and transport companies, are also among the expected attendees. The event will address solutions for various sectors, from private households to public authorities.

Industry Engagement and Participation

Exhibitors will reach key decision-makers in security, including security consultants and corporate security officers. They will showcase products in a focused B2B environment and present product innovations or prototypes to test market acceptance. Companies will establish and deepen personal contacts, discover new customer groups, and expand their distribution network. Exhibitors will also monitor trade levels and search for representatives. Additional advertising opportunities, such as newsletter and catalogue ads, roll-ups, and sponsorships, will be available.
