Monterey, CA, United States — July 10, 2026 — The Organic Produce Summit (OPS) will celebrate its 10th anniversary next week, opening on July 14, 2026, in Monterey, California, with an expanded exhibition footprint. This annual trade event is dedicated to connecting organic fresh produce growers, shippers, and processors with retailers and buying organizations from across North America and globally.

A Decade of Growth and Industry Connection

Since its inception in 2016, OPS has evolved into a critical hub for the organic fresh produce business. The summit consistently draws record crowds, with the 2025 edition marking the largest in its history. That event attracted over 300 influential retailers and buyers and featured 202 exhibitors, including 40 first-time participants. Earlier, the 2022 event saw 1,700 attendees and over 150 organic producers exhibiting. Major B2B global brands and influential retail organizations such as Whole Foods, Costco, Trader Joe's, and Sprouts Farmers Market have attended or exhibited, with prominent exhibitors including Melissa's Produce, Sol-ti, and Row 7 Seed Company.

For 2026, the exhibition footprint will expand further, introducing new dedicated zones for allied service providers and supply chain partners. This broadening scope underscores OPS's role as an essential platform for collaboration, innovation, and market growth in the organic produce sector.

Core Sectors and Supporting the Supply Chain

The core of the exhibition will feature Organic Fresh Produce Growers, Shippers, and Processors, showcasing certified organic fruits and vegetables. Product categories will encompass a wide range of commodities, including almonds, apples, berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries), citrus (grapefruit, lemons, limes, mandarins, oranges), leafy greens, stone fruit (apricots, cherries, nectarines, peaches, plums), potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and tropicals (avocado, bananas, mangoes, pineapples). This sector also includes processed organic products like juices, sauces, dips, dried fruit, fruit jerky, and wellness shakes/shots.

New for the 2026 edition is the Organic Produce Supply Chain & Allied Services sector. This expanded area will include packaging solutions, logistics, cold chain management, certification bodies, and marketing services. These offerings aim to provide a more comprehensive experience for attendees, fostering engagement across the entire organic produce industry.

The Organic Produce Summit is primarily organized by Informa Markets, a trading division of Informa PLC, with the Organic Produce Network (OPN) playing a significant role in its execution. New Hope Network is also associated with the event.

Target Audience and Event Highlights

The summit is designed for a diverse professional audience, including retailers, buying organizations, growers, shippers, processors, distributors, and organic product service providers. Qualified retailers are often offered complimentary registration and hotel stays, along with opportunities for field tours. The 2026 edition also welcomes allied service providers, supply chain partners, and commodity boards/associations.

OPS offers an immersive experience with a dynamic lineup of activities. Key highlights include exclusive educational sessions and keynote presentations, often held at the historic Golden State Theatre. Networking receptions will provide opportunities to connect with peers and industry leaders. For 2026, special events will include a golf tournament, a "Cultivating Connections: Women's Networking Event," the "Roots & Vines CCOF Fundraising Event," "Yoga on the Beach," and the "Seed to Service Donation Program." Additionally, the "2026 Innovations Showcase" will allow exhibitors to highlight top products.

The Organic Produce Summit will serve as a dedicated platform for the organic fresh produce industry, fostering direct sourcing and market intelligence for participants. Further details and registration information are available at https://www.organicproducesummit.com/en/home.html.
