London, United Kingdom — June 27, 2026 — New Designers, the annual exhibition championing UK graduate design talent since 1985, is set to relaunch in 2026 with a new one-week format, bringing together more than 3,000 new creative minds.

Relaunched Format for 2026 Edition

The event, which has championed the future of design since 1985, will present all design disciplines side by side to better reflect the interdisciplinary nature of contemporary design. New Designers celebrated 40 years in 2025, having provided a platform for over 2,500 graduates every year since its inception. The 2026 edition will gather 3,000 design graduates from over 100 university courses, continuing its role in launching the next generation of thinkers, makers, and disruptors onto the UK design scene.

Extensive Exhibition Space and Diverse Disciplines

New Designers will take place at the Business Design Centre in London, utilizing significant exhibition infrastructure. The main exhibition space, the mezzanine, covers over 2,000 square meters, providing substantial area for exhibits. The Gallery Hall offers an additional 890 square meters, complementing the primary display. An Auditorium on site will seat over 500 delegates, facilitating large-scale presentations and discussions. The exhibition will span various design disciplines, including fashion, textiles, furniture, product design, and illustration. For urban planners and property developers, the inclusion of Industrial and Spatial Design, alongside Product Design, underscores the event's direct relevance to the evolving demands of the built environment. Specific disciplines showcased in 2024 included Fashion and Costume, Contemporary Design Crafts, Textiles, Ceramics, Glass, Jewellery and Precious Metalwork in Week 1, and Furniture, Product Design, Industrial and Spatial Design, Graphic Design, Illustration and Animation, Motion Art, Digital Art, and Game Design (NEW to 2024) in Week 2.

Industry Connections and Professional Development

The event targets industry professionals, emerging creatives, and the next generation of designers looking to connect, discover talent, and explore the future of design. New Designers offers an important opportunity to network and present work to a larger audience, supporting career development. Concurrent programs will include "ND EDUCATES," which features inspiring talks, workshops, and practical advice from leading professionals, with its 2026 programme already live. "Thursday Late" will return to New Designers for 2026 on Thursday, July 2, from 4 PM to 8 PM. The "ND Awards," a series of accolades where leading design brands and businesses select and award rising stars, featured over 30 awards in the 2024 show.
