Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — July 17, 2026 — The upcoming Food & Drinks Malaysia by SIAL (FDM) 2026 edition is projected to significantly expand its footprint, anticipating more than 600 exhibitors and over 18,000 visitors. This influential event, set to open on July 21, 2026, at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur, will span 12,000 square meters, showcasing 1,000 brands from 60 countries.

Its previous edition, referred to as FDM 2025 (or FDM 2024 in some reports), successfully hosted over 430 exhibitors from 17 countries and welcomed 15,184 visitors from 72 nations. This past event achieved a 93.5% exhibitor satisfaction rate and an impressive 98.5% visitor satisfaction, facilitating interactions with 300 hosted buyers and generating approximately €198 million in total value discussed, leading to over USD 164 million in potential business.
